Radhe Radhe Govinda…. Radhe…

“After bathing in the river, the Lord walked a little distance from the bathing place and engaged in chanting the holly names of Krisna.” He is chanting: Hare Krisna Hare Krisna Krisna Krisna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare… Jay! You understand the meaning? Hare Krisna Hare Krisna Krisna Krisna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare… Why we chant together all? Part by part if you chant you cannot feel this taste. You have to chant whole this mantra at one time. Then taste will come. Hare Krisna Hare Krisna Krisna Krisna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare… You understand the meaning? You see? Jay! But don’t say to anyone. Because you will lose the taste. Keep it secret.

“At that time, accompanied by the sounds of music, Ramananda Raya came there on a palankin to take his bath.” You see… Lord is going on feet. And His devotee is going to see Him on a palankin.  This is the mercy of the Lord. Lord always gives mercy to the devotees, always gives facilities to the devotees. He is always standing, if you see Him – He is always standing and waiting for devotees. Any picture you see – He is standing and waiting to see. He likes to wait. But we have no time for waiting to Him. He is going to see one devotee by feet. And He arranged for the devotee a palankin! Who gives this palankin? When we got the palankin, we forget. When we got the car, we forget the Lord. But actually all the palankins by His mercy we have.

“Many brahmanas…” Many brahmanas! You see? When there is a devotee and brahmana – there is a difference. Brahmana is good, higher! We are going to take braminical initiation. We are becoming brahmanas. But if only Brahmin – karmakandi. What is karmakandi? English? Priest, who is making rituals. You are going in the church and priest is doing all the rituals. Bramin. Bramin is not going to work; you have to become devotee! Service – devotional! We do service in office. That is service; but that service is not devotional. This is service for money! But THIS service is devotional. Nobody will say to do this! And when you will do – THAT service is devotional. You see… so devotional service is higher then bramins. You will see these bramins… Next?

“Many brahmanas, following the vedic principles, accompanied Ramananda Raya.” Many brahmanas, not one! They are all doing regulative principles. They are coming with Ramananda. And Mahaprabhu is alone. You see… He went to se Ramananada Raya alone!

“According to the vedic rituals Ramananda Raya took his bath and offered oblations to his forefathers. Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu could not understand that the person, who had come to bath in the river, was Ramananda Raya. The Lord so much wanted to meet him, that his mind immediately began running after him.” Why not He understand? When he was coming, Mahaprabhu could NOT understand: “I come to see one devotee and he is with the karmakandi people? Why they are doing rituals? I’ve come to see devotee and they are in rituals?!”

“Although Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was running after him mentally, He patiently remained sitting. Ramananda Raya, seeing the wonderful sannyasi, then came to see Him. Ramananda Raya then saw Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu as brilliant as hundred suns. The Lord was covered by a safran garnment; He was large in body and very strongly built and  His eyes were like lotus petals. When Ramananda Raya saw the wonderful sannyasi, he was struck with wonder. He went to Him and immediately offered his respectful obeisances , falling down flat like a rod. The Lord stood up and asked Ramananda Raya to arise and chant the holly names of Krisna. Indeed, Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was very eager to embrace him.”

This is the quality of Lord. When any devotee comes to Him, He takes in His embrace. This is the quality. We never try to go to Him. And when we move in that direction, He always embrace us. We always keep in front only material things. And we keep Lord backside. Because we have only time for material things. So what I will see – I will get! For that we have to turn to see Him! And when I will see, then I will try to get Him. Ramananda went to Him – he catch the feet of Mahaprabhu. He filled that He is the great Lord Himself, coming to bless him. And He embraced him – embracing means He is giving everything to him. He is charging with His love Ramananda.

“Sri Chaitanya Mahprabhu then inquired whether he was Ramananda Raya and he replied: “Yes, I am your very low servant and I belong to the shudra community.” Shudra… He is a king! Ramananda Raya is a king! He is the senior manager of the kingdom. But he said: “I am shudra, I am very low person. I am not able to touch You.” Humility. Humbleness. He said: “I am not able to touch You, because I am shudra. You are the great Lord in the form of sannyas – I cannot touch You!” And Mahaprabhu is embracing him.

“Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu then embraced Sri Ramananda Raya very firmly…” Because feeling his humbleness. You see, when there is humbleness – automatically you can feel love. If you are with false ego you cannot feel love. So first he became humble to get that mercy of love. So he said: “I am shudra!”

“Indeed both – the master and the servant almost lost consciousness due to ecstatic love.” Both! When the embrace is SO strong, they both forget. Servant and master – both forget in that embrace. Because that is ecstatic love! In that love they forget all outside. This is the purity.

“Their natural love for each-other was awakened in them both. They embraced and fell to the ground.” You see – NATURAL love! Love is never unnatural. This is our nature! And for Supreme Lord is also natural to love His devotee. And for devotees is natural to love Him! Because they are soul and Supersoul – this is natural! Others things are unnatural what we are doing. If something is natural – that is pure love. You see? I am not adding one word! “Natural love”. Natural love for the Lord. For one soul is natural to love Supersoul. That is not unnatural. And when this natural love comes – what you will do? Read! “They embraced and fell to the ground”. They have no control to stand even! Ecstasy! Embrace and they forget… outside is gone. That is “Chaitanya Charitamrita”. You have to go in that mood, what Mahaprabhu is tasting. What Radha is tasting for Krisna – you have to taste same thing. You can feel the same! Because you have to go there. And you see – all other meaning is hidden. Hidden means you have to try to understand more. Parakiya – the mood of Mahaprabhu. He brings parakiya mood. In presence there is something, but the meaning is different.

“When they embraced each-other ecstatic symptoms – paralysis, perspiration, tears, shivering, paleness and standing up of the bodily hairs appeared. The word “Krisna” came from their mouths falteringly.”  Listen seriously! Don’t disturb, because then feeling will not come! Radhe Radhe Govinda…

When they embraces each-other… you see? HARE Krisna – when they embraced! Ecstatic symptoms… Ecstatic symptoms are coming. Paralyzed! Outside paralyzed. Means no movement. External everything is paralyzed. If you say to a paralyzed person to take this glass and drink – he cannot! His all actions are paralyzed. Perspiration – sweating. You feel sometimes sweating in the cold? In ecstasy… We have to find out this! You start sweating yourself… Tears. You see, in happiness there are tears. Yes? That tears… if tears are coming in happiness you feel in ecstasy. That tears, if you touch and feel, are cold. And these tears are melting your heart. And if these tears are coming then you feel you’ve got something spiritual. Taste these tears. If you cannot – try to taste! These are the jewels from the ocean! THESE are the jewels! Radhe Radhe Govinda…

Shivering and all the hear will stand. These are the highest ecstasies of love. When you become PURE it will come in your life. These are the jewels and when you get these jewels, you will become rich. If you have not taste this – you are poor… you have no jewels, you have never seen the jewels… Try to achieve this! If not – life is without jewels. This will only come in purity. And you know what is the meaning of purity. Divine love.

“The word “Krisna” came from their mouths falteringly” Why? You see… when they become in ecstasy, then what happens? The name came in their mouths. Name is symbol, coming only in ecstasy. When you are very attached and you feel very close – automatically the name is coming in your mouth. Because of attachment. That is ecstasy. Then what happened? Name of Krisna appeared. This is only happening because of Krisna. So when you are attached with your guru – what happens? Anything happens and you remember him and this ecstasy comes in your heart. This all comes only in attachment and relation. Feelings will develop only in attachment and relation.

“When the stereotype ritualistic brahmanas, who were following the vedic principles, saw the ecstatic manifestations of love, they were struck with wonder. All these brahmanas began to reflect as follows…” There are two classes of persons. One: the stereotype ritualistic brahmanas. The bramins cannot understand this thing! And one: Raya Ramananda and Mahaprabhu. When the bramanas are seeing they both are doing like this they become mad: “What happened to them?!” The ritualistic persons cannot understand. They were struck with wonder.

“All these brahmanas began to reflect as follows: “We can see that that sannyasi has an effulgence of a Brahman. But how is it that he is crying embracing of a shudra, a member of the forth caste of the social order?” There are two types of persons. One is seeing always outside. They see varna-ashram: brahmana, vaishya, kshatrya and shudra… sannyasi, grihasta, vanapratsa, brahmachari… they see like this – ONLY external things! And they are in rituals – karmakandi. And one: they see inside. They see soul and they see Supreme. Mahaprabhu is seeing same, Raya Ramananda is seeing same; but the karmakandi brahmanas cannot see, they cannot understand this! Because they never see these things, they cannot understand the meaning of this! Means: there are two types of persons: one is religious person, they do rituals. And one is: spiritual persons. They do spiritual work. Like, you see… Jesus. What is He – spiritual, or religious? Spiritual. He is very divine. He is never done ritual activities! And Saint Francis you see… What he is – religious or spiritual? Spiritual. He has no activities religious. And he is doing… but his all religious activities become spiritual, pure, because everywhere he sees the Lord. So why we do rituals? To get love for Lord. And if you have love – then you have success for that. If you not succeed then you are doing rituals. And if you got – then you succeed, you’ve got your aim! Rituals we do to reach that. Because we have no love – by doing rituals we will get love. But the aim is not the ritual; aim is to get love for the Lord. You have to understand this! Goal is not to become ritualistic! Goal is how to loving more. Ritual is the beginning. This is not our final goal. In “Gita” Krisna is telling: “Sarva dharman parityaja... leave all dharmas!” First in “Gita” He is telling “Jada Jada dharmasya… - when dharma is falling I come and protect it”. And again He is telling: “Sarva dharman parityaja… - leave all your dharmas – mam ekam sharanam vraja – and come to Me!” In one place He is telling “when dharma is going down I come and protect it” and in one place is telling “leave your all dharma and come to Me”. What means this? My dear sister? Say! Explain about this!

Yamuna: May be these are different levels…

Sadhu Maharaj: Right! Hundred percents right! Different level of consciousness. When you are in body consciousness – one level. When you are in spiritual consciousness, in soul consciousness – that is a different level. When you are in body consciousness Krisna is telling: “Jada jada dharmasya…” – at that time you HAVE TO keep your dharma. You have to live in rituals. If you are not doing rituals and you are not keeping your dharma – then I will come and protect you in the form of Guru. And in one place: “Sarva dharman parityaja” – Krisna understands that Arjuna understands he is a soul. And he is in real consciousness. Then He says: “Sarva dharman parityaja…- leave external dharma!” Because these external rituals will give you problem – you cannot see yourself. So then you don’t need rituals. Because you have realized yourself. You are a self-realized soul. You don’t need to do rituals. And at that time you have also dharma – “mam ekam sharanam vraja”! “You have only one ritual to do – how to come to Me, how to love Me then.” All religious books teach four things – read any book! Dharma (duty), artha (material success), kama (sense gratification) and moksa (liberation). Only four things – you go in any religion! But Mahaprabhu did not came to teach these four things. Ha said: you have to know these four things. There are three gunas: sattva guna, raja guna and tama guna. We all are in tama guna and raja guna. And all religion is teaching to become live in sattva guna. Mahaprabhu said: I don’t come to teach you this. You have to come out even from sattva guna! And you have to come out from all dharma, artha, kama, moksha. You have to leave this! Whole life we practice to do this and Chaitanya is telling “no, you have to leave this!” He said: “pancham purushartha – the fifth thing” And this is Prema Bhakti. He said – you do Prema and for that Prema you don’t need the four things. He came to teach only this. And one thing: He said NO sattva guna! Sattva Guna will also catch you in Prema. You have to come out of sattva guna also. You have to come out of light. You understand?

Ram Vijay: Only it’s not clear how.

Sadhu Maharaj: Ha-ha… This time we’ll clear… Go? More? But this time you will not digest… Radhe Radhe Govinda… Any questions?

Question: (English cannot hear) Дхарма включва ли също и  проповядването и то също ли трябва да бъде изоставено, както в „Гита” се казва да се изоставят всички религиозни дейности?

Sadhu Maharaj: You see… that time we are doing dharma to protect ourselves from outside. And when we are self-realized, we know about the soul – that time what is my dharma? What is the dharma of soul? When I know I am body – what is my dharma? And when I know that I am a soul – what is my dharma? Body dharma or soul dharma? Soul has what dharma?

Hari Lila: Ananda.

Sadhu Maharaj: But how – with Supersoul. With Supreme. Only you can take ananda, soul can take ananda with Supreme. And soul to Supersoul – to reach there what is the way? PREM! There is no other way to reach there! So that Prema Bhakti will take you there. And when there is a Prema Bhakti all action will be for that. All religious activities automatically your body will do. Because you love! If you love someone you do everything, you don’t stop doing anything. But your realization is more higher – to understand that you are soul. And your connection is more higher then body consciousness. That is self-realization and that is real connection. Clear or not? Slowly… pade pade… It will take some time. Chanting is important. But this is the only way! You see one thing very clear - what is my goal and what is my path. Path is not my goal and goal is not my path. Goal is goal and path is path. First we have to fix: “What is the aim of my life? And what path I have to go there.” And that path is also mercy of the spiritual master. The spiritual master shows the path to reach. But goal is not the spiritual master! Goal is… Gauranga. In the morning we read – what we read?

Answer: About the ocean.

Sadhu Maharaj: Yes… Gauranga is the goal and Nitay is the way. Without Nityananda you cannot reach Gauranga. Nityananda is guru and Gauranga is the aim. It’s very clear! You have to clear this in your consciousness. Without path we cannot reach the goal. And if I do not know the goal – I cannot reach the goal. I will be confused on the way. Radhe Radhe Govinda…

Jesus also is only saying two things. You never see Jesus showing like this (five raised fingers); he always shows this (two fingers). Two. What is two? This two – yourself, the soul – and my Father. Two things to understand. And how to reach there – for that we need one spiritual master to guide us in spiritual thing. The spiritual master is guiding and giving us love to reach there. I give you this energy, this love – and now you go this way! So easy… Other thing is difficult, this is not difficult, you write down! If you confuse yourself – then difficult. If you try to go straight, it’s not difficult. You see – touch your nose like this is not difficult. And if you touch like this… very difficult. … You see, I am giving you one example. You see the cow – she is giving milk. First they bring the small calf to the cow – in India, I don’t know here – and the calf starts drinking milk. And then cow starts giving milk. And small calves do like this – they push, they press the breast of the mother. And milk is coming. So if you like some milk to come – then you have to push! Without pushing milk will not come. So if you like to know something more – you have to push, you have to ask! Then milk will come; you will drink, I will drink also! So you push... milk will come… and everybody will drink. Push to get to drink milk! Calf is pushing in the breast of mother; and mother is giving more milk. So mother is really guru-tattva, Nityananda. And we are only instruments. So you push, I will push also to Him – we both will push and we both will drink milk when it come. So will drink together… Radhe…

Question of Hari Lila: May I ask about Radha? I am looking at the pictures of Radha and Krisna… And Radha is always looking asides, as though trying to escape… a bit shy, but at the same time Her eyes are looking playfully at Him. Why is this? She loves Him so much, but always escaping….

Sadhu Maharaj: You see… In the love if everything is free, it’s not very interesting. If something is covered is more interesting. More intense to go more deep. Krisna is saying: “Why you are doing like this?” and Radha is saying: “No, no… No! I don’t want to see you!” She is seeing, but “I don’t want to see you! You don’t touch me!” Because this is the highest mood of giving mercy to the devotees. Krisna Himself becomes ecstasy, ananda. THAT is Radha! And how to give this mercy to the devotees? Because without this how we will learn the purity? You see… by the mercy of Krisna. If you see any material picture your mind will become dirty. And if you see and think for Radha and Krisna – you will become more pure. Your all senses will not disturb you. Because of purity. They are divine! They are not only bodies. Divine Personalities. Even soul is divine – what about the divinity of Supersoul! You see the ocean and the waves? Similar you feel Radha and Krisna. The ocean… and the waves are coming and going again in the ocean. Not out! Waves are not out of the ocean. They come and go inside. They are one – they are not two. They become two to give happiness to the devotees. You understand? She says: “I don’t want to see you, you are very naughty, I don’t believe you!” Total believe, but She says “I don’t believe you! You are not good!” But heart is telling “you are good.”

Question: Is there the opposite case, when Krisna is saying like this?

Sadhu Maharaj: Opposite? Krisna never does… Krisna is the beggar in Vrindavan. Everybody is begging to Krisna. Because He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. But, you see, Krisna becomes beggar in Vrindavana. He is begging, He is asking to the devotees: “Please, give me something! If you don’t give me I will come in your own home and I will cheat that! You HAVE TO give Me, I cannot live without that! Because you are My close, you love Me and I also love you… So if I do anything this is not problem, you will not call police for Me.” This is the highest divinity of rasa in Vrindavan. Mahaprabhu sometimes is Radha, and sometimes is Krisna. Try to understand. When He is meeting with Raya Ramananda – He is Krisna. And Ramananda Raya is gopi. So both are meeting. Krisna with His gopi. And they are in ecstasy of love. Parakiya, this is parakiya – different mood. Again you will read – new thing you will understand. I am opening, you can go like this and two hundred people will come to listen – to you, two hundred people will come to listen from Ram Vijay. Say this! See and say! See first! Not see book and say; first you see! And say. You will see the reality and you will say about the reality and everybody will become impressed. Everybody wants truth! And if you take them to the truth – everybody will like to go there. See and say! You see when Mahaprabhu becomes Radha and when Mahaprabhu becomes Krisna. He is always with Radha and Krisna. He cannot go to Dwaraka. Only He is in Vrindavan with Radha and Krisna. This is Gauranga, Chaitanya. This is chaitanya – always you will keep in consciousness of divine love. I am mad person; if you push me the whole night I will talk about these things… Radhe Radhe…

Comment: It was very nice.

Sadhu Maharaj: Really nice… Prem is the best! Bhakti with Prem. Prem is also not very nice – if there is no Bhakti. And if Bhakti is there and no Prem – that is also not nice. Prema Bhakti is the best! Topmost!

Question: How to translate Prema Bhakti?

Sadhu Maharaj: Prema is love. Amor! What you say in Bulgarian – liubov. And Bhakti means like if you have son.  And he is small son. You feed everyday with milk. You change the cloths. You clean every day. And somebody comes and takes your son out. And he says: “I will not give you the son! I will keep far from you.” What you will do? Because you are so attached with your son and every day you were caring for your son – you cannot live without your son. You can do anything! You can fight with that person, you can kill that person – anything you can do for your son. Why? Because you are attached. Without taking any money you are doing service to your son. Nobody is paying for that – you work and you bring cloths. You work you bring food for him. Everything you bring by your working. Nobody is telling to do for him. THAT IS Bhakti – without telling if you do something. Love. With love if you do something – that is Bhakti. Clear? By pressure when you do – that is service. I have to work because I have to take money every month. I have to go right in time – nine o’clock in the office if I will not go, boss will fire me. So I am working under pressure. No love. No attachment. Only attachment for money. That is service. No Bhakti. Bhakti means – not demand anything. Not clear? Yes you say.

Question of Bhakti Shakti: You said that goal is Chaitanya and Nityananda is the path.  But don’t we meеt also the spiritual master in the spiritual realm? How this relation develop?

Sadhu Maharaj: You see, in the spiritual world if we are meeting with the spiritual master… SURE we are meeting the spiritual master there! But there is also one point. There also the spiritual master is not the goal, at that time also the spiritual master is helping to reach Chaitanya. He is not telling you : “Stay with me, don’t go there!” Nityananda say: “GO! This is your goal! This is the path, you go. I am there, I will help you also there.” It’s very clear! I see some place somebody not understand about the goal. That is not right wisdom. To understand the goal and the path and yourself. You see Jesus, I am telling you… Jesus always knows his goal. He always says “I am son of God” What is this meaning? He never accept himself “I am God”. Because if there are not two, how there will be love? He said that “I am son. He is my Father. I love my Father.” People say: “You are God”, but HE never said from his mouth “I am God”. He said: “I am son, he is the Father”. Because without two you cannot love! So you see very clear. He is a pure devotee of his Father. He is pure devotee of Krisna. Krisna and Kristos, you see – link: Kris Kris… Krisna and Kristos – Father and son.

Hari Lila: Jesus was saying that “I am the path, the truth and the life”.

Sadhu Maharaj: He is the path! Right! Path is the spiritual master. Truth is soul. Soul is truth! And life is soul. Try to understand! Soul is truth. And he is the path. Because he said two things: I am soul – truth, life… what is life? Soul is life! If soul will go out – no life! And path – he is telling about the path. Who is showing you the path – the spiritual master. He is not telling – I am goal.

Question: He is a guru?

Sadhu Maharaj: He is a guru, path! I say always: goal and the path. Path means guru and goal is Gauranga. And if I fix myself like path is my goal – I will never reach the goal. I will always be in path. Very clear! This is self-realization – when you are self-realized you can balance yourself. You will get that balance to check what and where we are. We can check our consciousness – we are unconscious? Conscious? What is truth and what is false. See and talk! Clear? But you understand – don’t misunderstand – goal without path you cannot reach! So guru is most important to reach the goal! But Nityananda is path, not goal. Guru is a path, not a goal. He will guide you all the time to reach the goal. And he will expand in many forms! He will expand in all your godbrothers, all your friends, he will expand in many respects to help you to reach the goal. You see… You have to see your guru all the time! Everywhere! In everyone! Then you can see everywhere, in everyone your Gauranga also. You will get this vision, divine eyes to see – “chakshy dhan dilo je” – you will get these divine eyes… Clear? Pade pade, slowly you will understand…

Comment: It will took many years for that.

Sadhy Maharaj: Yes…

Question of Damodar: I have heard that the original guru is Krisna. And I have difficulties to understand how Krisna is NOT a guru if Nityananda is guru.

Sadhu Maharaj: You are right that Krisna is guru! Then what is your goal? Where you want to go?

Damodar: To Krisna.

Sadhu Maharaj: Then He is not guru. Then we need one guru who will take us to Krisna. When you accept guru as Krisna then you have path and no goal to reach. So you need one guru to reach the goal. Very clear!

Comment: I like this very much.

Sadhu Maharaj: You are very intelligent, I know you!

Comment: For me is also impossible Krisna to be guru. I don’t understand that vision.

Sadhu Maharaj: Guru and goal – different. Path and goal is different. Very clear. If you make path your goal many lifes you will walk. You will not reach.  So you need goal and path. Like I have to go to Ram Vijay’s house – my goal. And path is - what is the way to reach there. And if I will go without goal – then I may go seven days in Bulgaria and I will not reach any place. You see? So first goal – then path.

Question of Yamuna: Sadhu Maharaj, if someone accepts Krisna as the guru and we know that guru is the path – this means that you have to STEP on Him?

Sadhu Maharaj: No, step, no problem! You can step also to Krisna. But what is the goal? If Krisna is guru what is your goal? Guru is your goal? What is your goal? Krisna you make guru and in material world you make the goal? What is your goal? Whom you love? You have to fix one goal. These are the confusions in our spiritual life. We are confused. We NEED guru to reach goal.

Question of Ram Vijay: In “Bhagavad Gita” it’s mentioned, that Krisna is a spiritual master for Arjuna. So what was the goal for Arjuna then?

Sadhu Maharaj: You see, Krisna is always with Arjuna. And he said: “I don’t believe You!” Then he had to sаw Virat Svarupa (the Universal Form). And his goal was fixed in Virat Svarupa. Because guru is Krisna and then Krisna not become his goal. And Virat Svarupa when he saw: “O, my God! I cannot see… I cannot see… “ Because in Bible also – you cannot imagine God. You cannot imagine. He said: “I cannot see! I cannot imagine this!” But you see, Saint Paul is writing: “You can love. In love you can FEEL God. You can see God. You can touch God!” So he cannot feel, he cannot touch – because this is Virat Svarupa!!! Because there is NO LOVE! Without love…. IMPOSSIBLE!!! So if Krisna is guru, I don’t need Krisna as a guru! Because Krisna is the guru – in the guru Krisna Himself comes! Krisna Himself empowered the guru to preach. But they are two! One is goal and one is the path.

Question: I have heard in some lectures that Bhakti Yoga is the goal – and this is the path also. In the same time.

Sadhu Maharaj: Bhakti Yoga is the way. And that is not goal! Bhakti Yoga is the way. Method. Goal is Krisna. Yoga is the way. Goal is Krisna. Not only Krisna! Gauranga! Radha and Krisna.

Question: But what is the goal – Krisna – or love for Krisna?

Sadhu Maharaj: You see, you cannot reach Radha and Krisna without love. No way. No other way to reach to Them. The only way Mahaprabhu gave us. I have seen many scriptures whole over the world. So He is saying: “The whole Universe will sing the Mahamantra! Because this is the only way!” Because this is the only way - to love. Without love – there is no way! When they will understand – they have to do, no way! There is no way, because this is not religion. This is over than religion, a very high thing! To love God! There is no cast and religion… everybody will come inside! You can feel this! This is the subject of soul and Supersoul – pure love. Divine love. No religious activities.

Question: Is it possible to love God without religion, without rituals – just to love Him?

Sadhu Maharaj: Religion and rituals are the hindrance of love. We cannot cross this. We have to move this.

Question: But there are always rituals.

Sadhu Maharaj: Because no love! So – rituals. Mother is not doing rituals to her son! Because mother loves! Yasoda Maya never does rituals to Krisna. Mother Mary never does rituals to Jesus. Love – no rituals! But in the beginning – because no love… If you become mother of Krisna – no rituals! If you become mother of Gopal only you will run to bring toffee to Him. That ritual will start. You will cook some butter for Him. Sometimes Gopal will say: “No, no…I like sweet rise, mummy!” You will cook sweet rise. “Please, make me some pakoras” “O.k., o.k, wait. I am bringing”… “O, mummy, I want to go to the garden, take me there, I want to swing.” And then this is your ritual. These rituals will start. This is only in pure love. Other rituals will change.
